Salt City Vocal Collective is a flexible ensemble of experienced Utah vocalists available for concerts, weddings, community events, private gatherings, arts festivals, holiday programs, and special performances.
Led by Daniel Tuutau, the collective brings together skilled singers with backgrounds in opera, classical music, musical theatre, sacred music, and crossover styles.

Daniel Tuutau
Founder / Baritone / Artistic Coordinator
Kyra Fuhrman

Kyra Furman holds a bachelor’s in Vocal Performance from the University of Utah. Kyra has performed with the Utah Symphony, Utah Opera Chorus, Off-Broadway Theater, Centerpoint Legacy Theater, Titus Productions, and Hale Center Theater. Her most recent roles include Marguerite St. Just in The Scarlet Pimpernel, Mayzie La Bird in Seussical, Rosemund in The Robber Bridegroom, and Donna Elvira in Don Giovanni. You can see her performing soon as Mrs. Lovett in Sweeney Todd. Kyra would like to thank her husband James, friends, and family for the constant love and support to continue following her dreams.
Gregory Harrison

Gregory Harrison is a versatile tenor who has been teaching in Salt Lake City since 2014. With a strong foundation in classical training from Hillcrest High School, Snow College, and the University of Utah, Harrison has established himself as a respected voice teacher, performer, and music director in the local arts community.
His musical theatre credits include roles at HCT Sandy (Oberon in Maury Yeston’s “Phantom,” George Widener in “Titanic the Musical,” and ensemble in “Fiddler on the Roof”), as well as Cogsworth in “Beauty and the Beast” with Cottonwood Heights Arts Council, ensemble in “Sweeney Todd” with West Valley Performing Arts, Gaston in “Beauty and the Beast” with Riverton Arts Council, Man in the Yellow Suit in “Tuck Everlasting” and Diesel in “West Side Story” with Kensington Theatre.
Matthew Castleton

Matthew Castleton has a large swath of operatic experience, including several roles with Lyrical Opera Theater: Dancairo/Morales in Carmen (2024), Colline in La Boheme (2023), Tonio in Pagliacci (2023), and Enrico in Lucia di Lammermoor (2022). Mr. Castleton also appeared in Emmanuel Chabrier’s L’Étoile (Vegas City Opera 2017). Mr. Castleton was a young artist at the 2009 La Musica Lirica Opera Young Artist Program (Novafeltria, Italy). He holds both Bachelors (2010) and Masters (2014) Degrees in Music-Vocal Performance from the University of Utah. When he is not performing, Matthew also works as a Order Fulfillment Associate at Lowe’s while making his home in Midvale, Utah.
Carolyn Talboys-Kalssen

Carolyn Talboys-Klassen, soprano, has performed widely across the Intermountain West, appearing as a soloist with organizations such as the Utah Symphony, OPUS Chamber Orchestra, and Utah Valley Choral Society. She has been featured in numerous recital series, including Temple Square, Westminster Promenade, Holladay UCC, and the Chamber Music Society of Salt Lake City, as well as in special performances like Sonic Blossom, NOVA Chamber Concert Series, Paradigm Concert Series, and the Salt Lake Vivaldi Candlelight Concert. She also performed the role of Sophie in Master Class for Salt Lake Acting Company.
A longtime collaborator with Utah Symphony | Utah Opera, Talboys-Klassen has appeared in mainstage roles including Sister Dolcina in Suor Angelica, Mary in The Ballad of Baby Doe, Sister Angelica in The Three Hermits, and Flute in the world premiere of Anthony Plog’s How the Trumpet Got Its Toot. She performs regularly with the Utah Opera Chorus and spent eight years as a soloist in the Opera-in-the-Schools Program, in addition to being selected for the company’s inaugural Young Artist Program. A finalist in the Rocky Mountain Regional Metropolitan Opera Auditions and a two-time recipient of the Sylvia Learner Wollman Award, she holds a Master of Music degree from the University of Utah.
Anadine Burrell

Anadine Burrell has been singing as long as she can remember, from children’s choruses to Musical Theater and Opera.
She is especially proud of performing the role of Gretel in Englebert Humperdink’s “Hansel and Gretel”, and the role of Polly in Brecht’s “Three Penny Opera”. During her college career, Anadine received many talent scholarships and won numerous awards, including the Denver Lyric Opera Guild Scholarship (2002 and 2003) and First place in the Metro State Concerto Competition (2004). She received her BFA/Vocal Performance from Metropolitan State College of Denver in 2005. She has sung with the Utah Symphony Chorus, and also been a Utah Opera Chorus member since 2012.
Anadine has been married to the very tall and very wonderful Ben for 19 years and is the mother of 4 gorgeous children.
